Beginning.

This crappy iPhone picture was the beginning of a new obsession.

In May, my husband, Mark, and I decided that we should be more hip, local, natural, organic...so we joined a food co-op program that gave the option of buying weekly bags of produce and meat  (www.naturalfarms.com).

The way this particular co-op works is that you order your produce bag without knowing what it actually will contain.  This first bag that we brought home contained all-natural lettuce, onion, cauliflower, grapes, broccoli, tomatoes, oranges, kiwis, and oregano.

I had a friend curious about this co-op, and so I snapped a pic to show her what we got.  And so it began.  Each week since, I have felt compelled to snap a photo of the bag's contents and relentlessly subject my facebook friends to pictures and descriptions of what I make for dinner each night.

Since I've more or less turned my facebook page into a very amateur food blog - I figured I might as well just begin an actual very amateur food blog.  I'll daily [mostly] share photos and recipes [kindof].
